Gill Cooke Personnel is a temp. Agency, and during my time with them, I've had the opportunity to work for three major companies:

• Fisher Scientific

• Summer vacation 1998, 1999
• My role was of a Desk Top Publishing operative. I was in involved in the design and creation of Fisher Scientific product catalogues, and promotional material. The job entailed the use of Apple Macs running Quark Express and Adobe Photoshop.
  
  

• 3M, Medical Products

• April 1997 - Sep. 1997
• I was the project co-ordinator for data analysis of their vast database system. I was responsible for analysing data error reports created by the system, and distributing information to the relevant departments throughout Europe and the US. The job entailed designing and writing programs within Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to interact with their database system.

• My role was one of a Mystery Shopper, where I would call the customers of ServiceLine, and enquire as to the service that they received. The job entailed a lot of telephone work, and the use of Microsoft Access, along with general office duties.

The company specialises in "Physical Vapour Deposition'. My role in the company, comprised of building the electrical systems needed to power the process, for commercial sales, and maintaining the machines used for research and production. I also aided design and manufacture of machines, and writing manuals for the calibration of the machines.
